| Datanet was the first name I used for my business.The first ideas of doing my own business was to design databases for companies and individuals, as data and databases are the starting points for all information and they play critical roles in an information age. Data collection, management, analysis, transformation, transmission are the essential parts of the information exchange tasks. |
| Various forms of data exist. In broader terms, all types of files, pictures, animation, videos, voices etc are also special types of data. However, generally we define databases as those software systems which handle digits and chars. Later there are non-structural database available for storing and retrieving images, objects, vectors and other forms of multimedia, non-linear data. |
| And now, I was only interested in rational database and only those used for statistical and analysis purpose. I was intended to provide services to people who want to: |
1) setup a database at a desktop 2) setup database systems across a network in a C/S (Client/Server) environment, regardless of operation systems, network hardware and configurations 3) enable people in different locations to share corporate information across heterogeneous systems with existing database structure via ODBC, JDBC, OLE, ActiveX, and other data connection techniques 4) transfer data from one form to another 5) configure back end database and make relevant programming for data-driven websites 6) and more. |
