The New Government

The new government inaugurated some 4 months ago is by far the best in China's history.

President Hu Jingtao is considered by me as one of the gentlest leaders in China, and perhaps in the world. He has been showing his concerns of the rural chinese people, and he is dedicated to solve the problems facing the challenge of rural stagnation ever since the end of 1980's. I like him very much. Under his leadership, China will witness a true economic booming, and chinese people will enjoy more prosperity, more freedom and more democracy.

I have never admired a chinese leader in my life since I was awaken from the dreams implanted by former communist party chairman Mao Zedong. Every body has done something to China, and every body has left some bad records behind him. But to Mr Hu Jingtao, I wouldn't say so. He is a man of my respect, a mild but powerful man - his power came from his true love of his country and his people, not his position.

Our prime Minister Wen Jiabao has the same quality as President Hu. I wouldn't comment too much. He will do a great job, for sure. If his government needs my services, I will accept any position - from a document clerk to a higher position, let's say a vice-premiere for Science and Education. But I am not too qualified for that yet.

The Chairman of the People's Congress is a man who has practical experiences in the industry. I don't think this is the best job for him. He can be a perfect CEO in a MNC or something. But he is a nice guy too.

The deputy President, Mr Zheng Qinghong is probably the designer-in-chief of the future chinese society - political and economical systems alike. He has the quality of Washington or Jefferson and if time and situation allow him, he will turn China into one of the most democratic and free society in the world without bloody turmoil like the one we experienced before.

I am very confident of the new government, although my personal fate looks just opposite. Things will change soon under their leadership.

I sincerely extend my best wishes to all of them, incl. the ex-President who is considered by my father also as a nice man. My father is always right.

China is lucky to have Hu Jingtao as our President at this critical time.
