IT Infrastructure In order to download big software (in scale of GB for most IC design software), I need to find out a way to download big file from web drives of baidu.com, but until now there is no solution.
Social contacts This morning my younger sister came to me unexpectedly, bringing me some money and fruits. She told me that the Chinese spring holiday is alreay near, less than a month away. I didn't realize that and thought instean it is at least 2 months away. This year the Chinese new year arrices earlier than before.

IT Infrastructure I've explored how to design dropdown menus quickly and visually without the need to use other's codes, because it is very difficult to adopt to my site conditions. There are too many manual changes to the codes, and many times it is impossible to find out how to modify the codes to reflect my needs. Several options exit to improve the dropdown menu design: 1) use an uptodate dreamweaver version. I've downloaded and tried one or two, not yet satisfactory. Will try again. 2) use the existing methods of my dreamweaver CS6 version, namely: a. spry module b) layers and ap div. 3) using dw plugings, but they are not easy to find. 4) using independent dropdown menu software, but their functions are limited, at least the free or trial version.

In fact I was already up and was working on my computer. I did hear some voice down on the first floor, but I was not sure whether it was someone entering my house, therefore I did not come down to meet him.

IT Infrastructure Circumventing tools: 1) I have again recovered some of the malfunctioning anti-censorship tools such as lantern, ultrasurf, psiphon, but not all are working since the Chinee great firewall have blocked them. I would not try to set up more toos on my only one vps server, because I have already installed several of them incl ssr, v2ray, pipesocks, brook etc. Of course if I buy an additional vps, I will try all other tools on the list, but now let me rest a couple of months, for I have enough tools in standby. There is no reasons to spend time and efforts there.

IT Infrastructure Circumventing tools: 1) successfully installed and run pipesocks 2) solved https viewing problem on the nginx webserver for the website angeliamodem.tk, but unable to figure out why it redirects to a directory hosted on apache webserver when using https alone without the special ssl port of 8443 I set for nginx to use, why apache recognizes the ssl certificates when there is nothing configured for these certificates on apache. Possibly apache can share configurations data with nginx automaticaly? No idea. Can't find a solution from the Internet. Successfully installed and run geph proxy tool.

IT Infrastructure Installed gfw.press but it did not work. Try to fix the problem today together with v2ray's remaining problem: the ngingx server does not direct the main page of the angeliamodem.tk to the correct directory I set in the configuration file of nginx, instead it shows the index.html page of the angelia.space site hosted under apache webserver, strange and ununderstandable. Problems remain open.

Mother memorials:In order to honor my mother I will write a biography of hers, possibly some poems or other essays which will then be used to compose a music piece for my mother, and finally a movie that will also be derived from her biography or her poems and other essays. For that reasons I will continue with my reading of various novels of Chinese, English and French and perhaps German too, in addition to the improvement of my language skills in these languages themselves. Current reading status:
Chinese: At the monent I am reading the following: <红楼梦> Red Mansion: Chapter 83 This is perhaps the 3rd time of my reading. My first time was more than 30 years ago, and quite difficult to understand, and today easier, but still unable to grasp all its contents and meaning. This novel, perhaps the greatest in human history, involves all best chinese ancient literature and culture. With a solid background of Chines culture and literature, one has difficulty to really enjoy its beauty. <红楼梦典藏版套装共8册> 8 volums of the Red Mansion Notes A 3000 page lecture notes by a well known researcher on Red Mansion from Taiwan. Current status: page 955 Movies of Red Mansion: To understand Chinese literature and culture more, I shall watch some of the best movies of Red Mansions. The first was shot in about the 1920's and upto now there are many dozens of versions of its movies in all sorts of forms, TV shows, local dramas and so on. Occassionally I shall also watch other movies which teach people about Chinese culture. In addition I will also visit some websites dedicated to Red Mansion in order to get more information about this great novel.

Of course language and literature reading and learning and practice is not only for the purpose of writing a bio and other essays for mother, but also for my research and studies, business and general communications with those people in contact with me.
Music piece for mother: I will compose a musica piece for my mother after studying, listening and playing all the best music pieces concerning mothers and other melancholical issues. For that purpose I have been studying music theory, and later I will resume my playing of a music instrument, possibly a violin, and listening to the best music pieces available on the Internet - all of them, from the ancient time to the modern day, from China to all parts of the world. I plan to first compose a violin solo, then a duo with a piano, and a concerto with more instruments, and in the end all the best instruments from all nations, and singers will also join in the greatest symphony in the history to honor my mother and all mothers of human kinds. That will take long time to accomplish. At the moment however, I can only have to chance to listen to some of the best music piece to gain some very first feeling of how they might sound like, and gradually I will form my own melody, and then if my situation is good enough, I will spend my entire energy on the composition of such a song or music.

IT Infrastructure Over the last days I have been trying to set up my own v2ray proxy server, because I need one such proxy for emergency use. Under normal conditions the free nodes available on the Internet can serve my purpose to unblock the great firewall, but in case all of them are blocked I need my own way out. I have one own ssr already but I need more. Finally today I succeeded in setting one, but there are still unsolved issues with the webservers. I have installed 2 servers - apache and nginx, but all incoming traffic seems to go to apache. I have to work out a way still. Social contacts I live quite alone, have little contacts with the outside world. But yesterday afteroon my high school mate came to me and picked me up to a restaurant in a nearby town to have a dinner, together with another 3 classmates, Yang XF, Chen JZ and Shen ???. Coming back home it was 9:00 eveing and I was unable to sleep last night, perhaps because of the strong tee or too much talking. Whenever I am talking too much in the evening, I cannot sleep well, therefore I could not get up at the regular hour this morning and was unable to go to this same town to buy food and daily necessaties. Last night just before turning off my computer I've received a message from a Thailand American, therefore I have to answer him instantly, postponing my bedtime. He came across to me via a penpal site where I have registered months ago. But today he sent me a message saying that "a correspondence between us would not be fruitful for either of us at this time.", therefore I will not continue with his acquaintence.
