2012-4-15Yesterday I went to the hospital where my sister-in-law (my brother’s wife) is now staying for her skin treatment. Her skin is totally decayed and the situation seems very severe. How severe it is, I don’t know. It is Mami who asked me to go. I joined Mami and my sister there. After the visit I went to the mountain to refresh myself. The atmosphere in the hospital is killing. I have decided to remove all information update form my aviation site and in the future I will no more put any news about the industry, so that my burden for writing continuously is totally released. Putting the news there does not help my business at all. On contrary it just feed the western guys with abundant information free of charge, and no appreciation in return. Earlier when I sent samples of reports to the guys they never gave me any reply any thanks! I might again contact the guys in other industries – solar, yachts, real estates etc – which I have contacted years ago, but I will not set up individual websites for these industries. Just sending batch emails and see how they react. As I decided week ago, I will never write and publish anything in any other websites except my own. I have closed my accounts at all social network sites and other webportals. They prove to be useless in promoting my image, my business and my story. 2012-4-9To simplify my life I have closed many of my sites, incl my facebook and linkedin accounts, which have not brought any attention to my career and life. I have also shut down all other alternative site at google and worldpress, for their maintenance costs me too much time and worry. I have also deleted several domain names I registered at some free domain services such as co.cc, and I am now using exclusively the .tk domain. Registering for .aero, .ky and other top level domains failed. Also to simplify my life I’ve decided not to post any things onto any other sites than my own. I am only promoting these other sites with my excellent texts while they don’t benefit my business anyway. In the future I will only keep my own websites updated. My sister-in-law is hospitalized duo to skin illness. She’s been suffering for this for quite some time and is getting worse. She and I don’t have good relations because she never has taken good care of my mother, and my mother, together with my father, are my everything. Therefore even if she was sent to the hospital to the same town as I am living now, very close, I am reluctant to paya visit to her. No one has also asked me to do so, as they all know the bas relations with her. I have picked up a little cat several days ago on my way home from mountain, but this cat is now ill, which worries me much. 2012-4-5More than a month was gone without writing any diary now. In fact I found nothing to write at all. Nothing significant has happened over the last month. My studies of number theory was suspended, my business was stagnated (for very very long time now), my life has been dead. Nothing at all. Nevertheless, I still have been keeping a busy life – contacting potential clients every day, maintaining my three websites, visit my Mami frequently, keep in touch with a few other people etc. My last visit to my Mami was just one day ago at the Chinese Holiday of Qingming, a holiday to honor and pay visits to those past away. Over the last month, my major efforts were perhaps put on the domain registration and hosting my website. Finally I managed to get a top level domain name for my business, and thus this problem is eventually solved. However, the system thus conceived is fairly complicated, as I have to use a three tier system in order to prevent any possible unexpected changes of domain names – the first tier domain is a secondary level domain but very stable, and the secondary tier is top level but relatively fragile and the last tier is the hosting which will change frequently depending on the quality of the hosting. Backup and standby domains and hosts must also be created in order to main the website as soon as possible if a breakdown occurs any where in the tier. Another major effort was spent on working out ways to communicate over Internet for telephone, and fax, both for international and domestic calling. Fax is relatively easier to make, with many companies and websites providing free faxóemail transfer and transformation, while free VOIP is rarely to be found. However, it is still possible to find temporary solutions to make free phone calls. And finding a free virtual number for my clients to use is also possible, albeit fairly complicated to configure. 2012-3-2Free competition is simply the most important thing in every society. Free competition shall not only dominate in commerce, but also in all other aspects of the society – politice/governance, science, and religions as well. Reading of contemporary english novels is also stopped, leaving only media english, in order to keep me updated with phrases and vocabulary of the current time, and also I need to pronounce English in case someone wants to talk with me such as those from the business world or my potential employer – although the chance is extremely low. Prices in Huzhou’s wholesale shops or retailers are even higher than those of the small sellers. I wonder how. 2012-3-1It has been raining for a long time after the Chinese spring holiday. And today I heard the first thunder this year. I think it came quite early. I walked out at about 4:99 pm, and half an hour later, when I was walking along the river, rain poured down, heavily, and soon after, lighting flash and thundering followed, until I retunred back home an hour later. Priously I planned to deply some of my articles to ezine, media sites and blog sites, now they are all removed from my plan. Ezines are mostly for consumer information, not for technically tuned aviation, and they are irrelevant to my business; media sites don’t provide places for me to interact with the viewers, that is, there are no forums, no links allowed; blog sites as I mentioned before, are mostly for private communications, and maintaining a blog takes too much time. If like worldpress they disables my blog, then all my efforts are ruined. Therefore I prefer to use my own website, and it is also simpler for me to switch from one place to another, without much loss of identity on the Internet, because what I need to do then is just to change the DNS routing settings, a matter of minutes’ work! I’ve also registered many sites for free ssh accounts. But I found only three are really working for tunneling out of the Chinese firewall, therefore I decided not to maintain all others alive. With no tunneling these accounts are useless to me. Among the three with tunneling capacity, one has already deactivated my account, I don’t know why, thus only two are remaining. I’ve tried to find a new one but it looks perssimistic. These days the free email accounts made me headaching, particularly the Russian ones. They allowed me to send mails in barch earlier, but now, they disabled the function. Thus only a few are still working. Thus there is a danger that I will be hardly able to find good email servers to send batch emails to my potential clients, which is the only way I can reach them. My website is now hardly known to people in the business. Google searching does not bring up my site now. I’ve redesigned my private site, organized the directory system and the files needed for preparing for my essays, and also integrated all discretely distributed files into several specially assigned files. Now the next step is to write them, step by step, one by one. I will pick up topics as I consider as most relevant and interesting, for example, my PhD application history in 2010-2011. I will start from Zhejiang University, and then Nanyang Tech University and then rest of all others. After this I may continue with my story in the church in Hangzhou, or with my telling the resume writing. I plan to finish the writing in three years, and in thousands of pages. There are so many to write, but there is so little time for it. For English I’ve decided not to continue my learning and reading of classic english novels or dramas. Perhaps I will read some comtemporary english novels at least after 1900. I need to know how they write their english in modern time, not in ancient time. But even this learning and reading might be cancelled in order to save time, because math is my only center of studies, all the rest is less important. Therefore I determined to abandon Shakespear and Dickens as well as Newton. I’ve just finished my registration in about 35 websites in the aviation industry, as part of my online promotion compaign. It took me hours of working, painfully. Some site provide very rich and complicated community experiences, where you can participate in forums, submite your articles, photos, create your own groups and blogs, and more, while other provide simple link exchange. I will filter out only those with better interactions to be my promotion platform. 2012-2-24Mami said sisters asked me to return home, because they said this way I don’t need to pay rent. But they have not taken into considerations of many other matters, such as how to deal with the local people, how to go to the mountains, how to find my incomes in the village. I won’t go there any way and will try to find out a way to earn money while being able to stay together with my mami. My business aviation Determined the name for my business aviation called Advanced Aviation & Aerospace (AAA). Why AAA? Because this name is easy to remember for others, and because when my business name can be put into entries of other websites or directories, it will always turn up in the first records or rows. And also because it’s simple! I am also determined to develop a good website in English, which will become an entry for foreign businesses to the Chinese business aviation market. I will finish it in three months and now I have hooked it temporarily at http://aaa.helioslab.org/. Whether or not to register another domain has to be decided yet. Business aviaiton software Business aviaiton software might be my key focus. I’ve been considering this option since a while, but actually it’s not very feasible, because developing software is out of my capacity and consulting for aviation software is likewise difficult. For example it’s hard to convince a foreign company to localize its software. The Arabians The Arabians, who have contacted me in mid January, gave me nothing since I provided them my initial proposal for their business aviation strategy in China. It certainly took some pains to prepare for the document, and my expectation was high. However, they simply ignored me and gave me nothing! German company German company needs a German resume. This guy aked me to provide him a German resume, which took me at least one hour to renew my old German resume. But soon this guy told me he didnot think me as viable for the job. Apparently he was cheating me. I have been cheated many many times over the last decade, and now also the Arabians. My own private website Decided to redevelop my own private website, to replace the blogs at WorldPress, Facebook, Google and LinkedIn. I’ve several versions of my private websites before, but I shut them down one by one. The new one will be designed a little differently, which will separated into sections like academic studies, business, and private life. WorldPress & LinkedIn WorldPress deactivated my blog chinabusinessinformation.worldpress.com for reasons of violating its policy. Therefore I decided to stop updating in it. I registered at WorldPress in 2007, stopped writing shortly and then resumed it about in October 2011. I also decided to stop writing blogs in all other sites, incl. Google blogger, facebook and linkedin, because they don’t bring any values to me. LinkedIn seems blocked since a month or so, I have to go there with a proxy (SSH). Rent Paid apartment rent on February 14, 2012, for three month. 2012-2-12China Business Aviation Marketing Proposal to PrestigeJet After a week’s study and writing, I’ve completed the 5-page long preliminary proposal of business aviation startup to PrestigeJet, in English. PrestigeJet is owned by an UAE prince and is operating VIP chartering and other aviation services in the Gulf region. In the proposal, I suggested PJ to start from a single point of operation – international VIP chartering between China and the Arab nations, while all other areas of businesses will only be considered a year or two later. If they approve my proposal, we will go ahead with a detailed business plan and start to set up a China office. Call from Fang Ming Dr Fang Ming (Ecole polytechnique, condensed physics) used to be my best classmate while at Tongji University during the 1980’s. He is now working at Texas Instrument as an engineer and he has invented a new type of solar cell. He and I have lost contact since 1995 or so, and in June 2011, I have found his contact via LinkedIn, pretty soon, in July, he came to Shanghai, where we could meet after so long time. And now later January this year, he came here again, this time, to attend the funeral of his aunt, who was also very kind to me at the time of Tongji. Unfortunately I was unable to hurry to Shanghai to see her aunt the last time, but today, Fang Ming called me that he will leave Shanghai for Dallas today, therefore we could not meet this time. We will schedule for another date anyway. He comes to Shanghai at least once a year, I guess. New Website I am now considering again to register a new domain name for the business aviation services. The www.helioslab.org domain doesn’t reflect what I am going to tell my clients. However, it’s a difficult job to think about a good name. Weather Many people are comlaining about the weather: they have good reasons. For the last months it did not shine enough, it has been raining too much; the temperature has been low and sometimes it is very freezy. Sitting at the computer for hours makes me bloody cold and chilly. But walking under frozen rain is no better. 2012-2-9China Business Aviation Deregulations From this year on, the Chinese government seems to have determined to move the open-sky policy on, that is, to allow aircrafts to fly over the sky under certain altitude without the need of applying for permission. However, this can be proven to be slow, as it involves not only the policy barriers, but all infrastructure for the general aviation as well, as all these are simply not there – airports, ground aupporting facilities, trained pilots etc etc. Therefore there is still long way to go before the Chinese business and general aviation industry can be really competitive and significantly large enough. But it is worthwhile trying though. Negotiation with Prestige Jet, an UAE business charter, is still going on. I am trying first to give them some ideas as to how to start their China operation, and then, if they approve my ideas, I would come up with more delicate proposals, which will cost something anyway. Doing business has to be step by step, in order to minimize your risks in China. Government relations is key, if you want to do really big business like the aviation one. If my cooperation with Prestige sounds OK, then perhaps I shall learn a little bit Arabic, its business traditions and its culture in general, because without knowing these stuffs you can’t get along with these people well. Normally the weather will turns warmer after the Spring Festival, but this year, it reversed – we have the lowest temperature yesterday (February 8) – about minus 6 Celsisu if you will – and the wind was blowing fiercely. Prices of life necessaties – fruits, vegetables – have gone up madly together with bas weather. My computer mouse was not working well. I’ve bought a new one just a few days before the Chinese new year holiday about two weeks ago, but it didn’t work well. The right click didn’t funtion and thus I have changed a new one yesterday (Feb 8), but that one also refused to work normally as it is not controllable. One click will trigger several clicks and thus may move to somewhereelse of the screen or open many other files or directoties which I am not intended to open. Therefore I have to change a new one again today, for more money. This one is working now. The salesman in the electronic market told me that now the quality of computer components is worse than those before, I don’t know why. Perhaps because they are making too many. China produces about 300 million sets of computers last year, and how many components were produced, you may guess it must be an astronomically high number. As a result, quality is compromized. 2012-2-1The Chinese new year – this year is a Dragon’s year according to Chinese tradition – is over and I returned to my residence in downtown Huzhou from my mother’s, for my mother lives in suburban Huzhou, some 25 km away. With the modern systems of high ways, there is no difference between city and rural areas. It’s a 20 minute drive, if you want and about 1.5 hours of bike riding, if you prefer on foot. Chinese new year is nothing than eating, eating and eating plus fire cracks and Majong. I was full of stomach the whole holiday for 12 days, and thus has put tremendous load on my belly. But it was always my happiest time to stay together with my mother, my most beloved person in the world. After several years of silence, there came a business opportunity now. About two weeks ago, an UAE (United Arab Emirates) business aviation company which is owned by one of the princes of the emirates, contacted me to look for possible cooperation. The company wants to enter into the Chinese business, private and general aviation market, seeking my advice and consultation. I don’t know how they found me – perhaps via my website, for I can’t remember when and how I’ve contacted them before. I’ve tried business aviation but in vain in 2007 and stopped it shortly after. Of course I know a little about this industry, and if they want I can provide them with the services they want. Right now the contacts are still at the first level, no agreement of whatssoever is reached. Apart from the business aviation, I am involved in many other businesses, such as properties, Internet, yachts, energy and power, thermal and fluid technologies, healthcare, wealth management and finally investment and investment consulting, which will be my eventual business model. I orient myself as an investment banker. Life resumed as usual after the Chinese new year, but this year I wish that something new will happen. 2012-1-9The End of My Multilinguism I have been recognized as a linguist somehow, as I know several of the European languages. But now I’ve to give up all of them – German, French, Russian, Hebrew, Greek and Latin, because after so many years of efforts, none of those countries have given me a chance in all of my applications. I will only keep english at reasonably good level, as I will soon write my mathematical essays. I’ve already written tens of thousands of pages of commercial reports in English in early days (2004-2007), but I still need to improve my english in order to prepare for my great book and paper in number theory. End of IT Competence Likewise, I will not continue to follow up IT technologies such as Java/C, assembly languauges etc. Only when it is necessary in writing C code for number-theoretical computation, which will come a year later or so. Life has to be adjusted to maintain minimum time expenditure and to give away all other activities which yield nothing. When I was younger and full of chances, the above – languages, IT skills etc – are useful, but they are not now. Time is the most expensive thing to me now. I can’t afford any second spent on non-productive studies or activities. Promised Land “Joanna wondered why all the decent, hard-working, gentle people in the world were failures. Simply because not one of those qualities worked in the real world. Bill Gates once also said that there is no fairness in the world. If this is true, then there is absolutely no fairness in China, as China is a much worse country than the US, wihch is claimed to be a democracy. Of course there is no real democracy in the world now. Gathering We had a gathering of a dozens of middle school classmates on Jan 7, 2012. My classmates are really good people, and care very much for my current situation. They once regarded me as their icon and hero, as I was so successful in everything – politics, studies and business or career. But now I am the worst living creature among my people, without house, without job, without wife and kids – nothing. What is wrong? I think the world has gone into the wrong path, not only here in China, but everywhere. People like me should live much more decently, but instead those wicked are enjoying their life, while I am struggling for survival. No western country is willing to provide a chance for me. This world is worth being damned and punished. In my mind, this wicked world must be destroyed and rebuilt. Religions After witnessing those people in the Christian churches, I conclude that the Christianity will one day disappear. The Bible is the greatest liar of the human history, and is full of non-sense and conflicts. It can’s stand any logic thinking and postulation. The guy Jesus was either non-existent or exegerated by his followers. In real world, all happen in contradictory to what he said. There might be truth or natural principles in the nature, while in the human society only the people with the strongest power have the say. There is no justice, no fairness, mo love at all. If the world is created by such a kind god, then his family shall not be such a wicked one. Therefore I belive him not – nor his words in the socalled bible.
