| I have observed airfighter during my childhood in my hometown. Once the airfighter was so close to us we could almost touch the wings. We could see the pilots. |
| Later when I went to studies and work in big cities like Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, the airfighter left me away as a distant memory. Once I was very much excited to see a airfighter flying over our head, our farmland. I dreamed to become one pilot. There was even rumors in my hometown that I was recruited by the Air Force. |
| Returning to Hangzhou, the roaring of cruising airfighters appear again, but this time with very different sensibility from my side. |
| I need peace in my life and work. The citizens of Hangzhou too. But these airplanes simply ignored all of our complaints. They flew over our head all year long, all day on, from early morning to midnight. They fly above the city center, along the outskirts. |
Sometimes they fly very close to the ground, sometimes they demonstrate in the very top height with a white band. Normally there is one airfighter in the sky at one time. In some instances, two airfighters are flying in different directions and they might not belong to the same team. Very seldom you may observe two or four fly together in a line. |
| Whatever they do, they attract eyes of passengers, drivers, bike riders and makes traffic accidents. Their roaring destroys the quiet life in the residential areas, makes people psychologically ill. |
| We don't know why they fly over our head. To demonstrate their power ? Not necessary. They should do it in front of their enemies if they have. To protect the city and the citizens ? They are useless, a helicopter does. To remind people of imminent wars ? With whom ? |
| And they cost huge money. |
